Liars' Brigde

Liars' Birdge

There is a glimpse of the Liars' Brige or Podul Mincinosilor in the back of the photo. You can see the road that leads to it in the Small Square (Piata Mica).

You can see the Luxembourg House on the left and the Art House on the right and a lot of people walking on the sidewalk that goes under the Liars' Bridge.

There are a lot of legends connected to the Liars' Bridge which all suggest the fact that bad things happen to people who stay on the bridge and tell lies. Either the bridge makes some strange noises and falls or they will be thrown off the bridge. Interesting legends so to say but, I have not heard of such a thing happening so far. It is either that nobody told any lies while on the bridge or the legends are fake...

Other than that, it is a beautiful bridge and wonderfully built and gives a special imprint on the Small Square.
