Sibiu Book Festival

This weekend, Sibiu houses the Book Festival. So if you love books and discounts, this is the place to be! You can find anything you want, book related and not only. So if you have a spare moment do not hesitate and pay it a visit! You won't regret it! Here are some photos taken on the first day of the fair. I simply love the banner! I would like one of those at my house for sure!

Crowded Little Square

This weekend had a fair going on in the Little and Big Squares. Here are some photos with the crowded Little Square. As you can see there were a lot of merchants and one could find some really good stuff there. If you knew how to negotiate you could have got major discounts on what you wanted. A lot of people came to see the merchandise and there were a lot of tourists around. Here are some photos:

What a pure joy!

What a joy can the children playing in the rising water in the Big Square feel... Watching them play and get wet to the bones can be a real pleasure which takes you back to your childhood years when there were no concerns in the world, everything was fine and playing games was the only thing that counted. Moreover, it can be a wonderful way of cooling down during the hot days that we have left this year since autumn has already made its presence, at least in the calendar. Who wouldn't want such a treat?

The Most Beautiful Street in Sibiu, The Citadel's Street!

And I am back after a long absence with some pictures of the most beautiful street in Sibiu, The Citadel's Street or Strada Cetatii! These photos were taken on the first days of September, 2016! As you can see, the towers are keen observers of the passers by, they probably have a story or two to tell... Autumn is making a presence but it is not a tragedy for the pigeons which are happily walking on the pavement. The same goes for the passers-by. There, one can have a rest at the wonderful Pardon cafe, get a sip or two from the wonderful coffee or maybe even get a glimpse of the time. A real treat!

Dancing Easter Bunny

The Easter Fair which is held these days in the city centre, i.e. the Big Square, offers visitors and tourists a preview of the holiday to come this weekend. One can find there many things related to Easter and not only. There is something for everybody, I suppose. Children can have a good time, adults can have a good time and even Easter bunnies can have a good time as the following video shows you. It seems that everybody was entertained by a whatsoever cheerful bunny.
