Sibiu Medieval Festival: Artgotica

The medieval story continued on the second day of the Medieval Festival "Transylvanian Fortresses" in Sibiu.

The live concerts, representations and shows continued to amaze the flow of spectators that were again transposed into an atmosphere of heroism, chivalry, courage and all the same.

I managed to film a show entitled "The Night of the Monsters" put in stage by Artgotica. I will post the video below. Watch it and judge for yourselves...

The 26th of August is the last day of the festival.

Sibiu Medieval Festival 2012: Bordo Sarkany Concert and Crispus Pyrotechnic Show

Welcome to Medieval Sibiu !

The 12th Edition of the Transylvanian Fortress Festival is here... From the 24th to the 26th of August all those who find themselves in the centre of Sibiu will undoubtedly be transposed into a time of chivalry, courage, generosity, courtesy, good manners and piety by the numerous medieval concerts, shows, knights, kings, castles and damsels in distress.

Village Museum: Wooden Church, XVIII th Century

The following is a Wooden Church from Comanesti, Gorj county. It dates back to the 18th century.

Village Museum: Orchard Homestead

Here is an Orchard Homestead from Vladesti, Valcea county. You can see the front of the house, the interior, the cellar and a little orchard.

What is worth mentioning is that this house appears on the back of the 10 lei bill. If you have one on you, you can compare it to the original.
